How many battery chargers do you have?

As technology advances, modern gadgets are now coming with battery chargers. Right now, as many gadgets you may have, there are battery chargers for each one of it. It all started with mobile phone chargers. Then with the arrival of digital cameras, their chargers came in. Ah yes, off course handycams also had their battery chargers. There are so many more to list up.

The load of chargers are getting heavy day by day. I felt the need of having a separate pouch bag for containing all the chargers of my gadgets and also data transfer cables + software CD/DVDs for any essential drivers. Whenever I travel, I take that pouch along with me.

Some gadgets consume battery power very fast. They require frequent charging. For those gadgets, we need to be on the lookout for charging points at airports, railway stations, inside the plane or train, in hotels and many more possible place wherever we visit during a holiday or business trip.

How do you manage? How many battery chargers + data transfer cables do you have or carry during tours? Do you feel comfortable or does it seem to take up some extra space in your luggage?

Technology has not advanced so far that we can get one single standard battery charging option to be used by all electronic product manufacturer. Like in multipurpose remote control. Don't you feel the need of such a multipurpose battery charger?

I do! Seriously, I mean its so annoying and a big headache that I have to manage a set of chargers during my travel. There is fear of loosing one, then I have to buy another piece of it.

God knows how many more kinds of gadgets are coming up with their own new set of adapters and chargers. That is going to create more load on us. When a family travels, each member has his/her own mobile phone, maybe mp3 player, kids have their portable gaming device.
If you have a mobile phone, a digital still camera, a handycam - plus mobiles of other family members & their mp3 players etc. imagine the load of power adapters?
